The House

The house

El Mirador de la Habana is an antique building in Andalusia dating back to 1900 and has been completely renovated * in 2008. In its renovation we have tried to keep all the original features possible to preserve the rural character of the building, such as trusses, stone blocks, niches, cabinets, etc.
However, we have not forsaken the modern day comforts to make your stay in the Lecrin Valley unforgettable, obtaining a house in which modern day life is not incompatible with tradition.
The things that no longer could be kept have been replaced by similar ones that are old and recovered from other houses and farms in the area, such as gates, railings and tiles, carefully chosen in style of the region of Granada.
In the decoration of El Mirador de la Habana simplicity prevails, recovered and restored furniture and the typical white of the Andalusian houses.
The materials used are sustainable, clay, iron, stone and wood and provide natural tones to the rooms.
Thanks to the thickness of its walls the house is warm in winter and cool in summer. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the villages of Andalucía as access to the house is pedestrian and although you can park just 200 away, you cannot hear any vehicles.
