Of course, if you come to Granada you can not miss the Alhambra and the Generalife.
We know it is not always easy to get entrance tickets, so if you need it, we'll get them, just ask us when you make your reservation.

In addition to these wonders, in the city you can wander through the neighbourhoods of Sacromonte and Albayzín, visit the home of Federico García Lorca, pass through the old city walls and admire some of its palaces, wells and cármenes. You can also visit the cathedral and other monumental buildings and BUY handicrafts in the souk.

And of course, *all alternating with* on top of the list of one of the best things you can do in Granada, is having tapas, with every drink you get a tapa (snack) for free for you to enjoy our local cuisine.

The beach

About 40 km away are the beaches of Motril (Granada Beach is great) and Salobreña, the closest and very well equipped. Towards Malaga you can go to the beaches of Almuñecar, La Herradura Cantarriján and where you can also scuba dive.

In the Direction to Almeria are the beaches of Torrenueva, Calahonda, etc.

Sierra Nevada

In just one hour you can be skiing in the best place in Andalucía, the slopes of the Sierra Nevada. There are about 100 ski slopes for all levels in one of the best ski stations in spain. If you come on weekdays there are deals on ski passes.


IIn a place of great beauty and only 25 minutes from our house you have the Santa Clara golf course in Otura, where you can enjoy 18 holes surrounded by the peaks of Sierra Nevada.

If you prefer to play golf on the coast there is a golfcourse at Motril Club Los Moriscos, with another 18 holes, about 40 km.


IIn just half an hour from our house you are in Lanjarón from where you start a journey through the villages of the Alpujarra, Orgiva, Pampaneira, Bubión, Capileira , these are just some of the closest villages through which you can walk on cobblestone streets as you contemplate the beautiful landscapes and typical Andalusian whitewashed houses.
Corners full of flowers and craft shops will give you a great day out to getting to know the area.

Wine Tourism

Just 10 minutes from Albuñuelas are the award-winning wineries of bodegas Señorio de Nevada, where you can attend one of their tours and will have the opportunity to taste some of the best wines of the region. If you want, we can book your visit.


Lecrín Valley is a superb area for walking trails at all levels to enjoy the countryside and to discover castles, caves, farms, mills, rivers, etc.
From Nigüelas and durcal there are good starting points for walking trails to the Park of Sierra Nevada
